The Department of Geography was established in the year 1996. The first batch of graduate passed out in 1998. At present there are three faculty members in the department one is Ph. D holder and another two is Ph. D registered. The Department of Geography is actively engaged in research work and participates in seminars, conferences and research publications. The Department has the adequate infrastructure facilities such as well-equipped laboratory, teaching aids like maps, charts, models and survey instruments etc.
